About

Jen Cuddington is a somatic counsellor and body-based practitioner who supports people in reconnecting with themselves through the wisdom of the body. She is registered with the Canadian Professional Counselling Association (CPCA) as a Master Practitioner in Clinical Counselling Provisional (MPCC-P).

With over 13 years of experience in hands-on bodywork—including Craniosacral Therapy (CST), Massage Therapy (RMT), and Somato-Emotional Release (SER)—Jen brings a deeply integrative approach to healing. Her background also includes work in the fitness industry as a personal trainer, shaping her understanding of the body as both resilient and deeply communicative.

Jen works with a wide range of experiences, including trauma, chronic illness, grief and loss, anxiety, chronic pain, head injuries, and symptoms that may feel confusing or hard to explain. At the core of her work is the understanding that many of these experiences are not signs that something is “wrong,” but invitations to gently listen to what the body is holding.

Her approach is rooted in the belief that healing doesn’t come from fixing ourselves, but from learning how to be with ourselves—with honesty, compassion, and curiosity. Through a somatic lens, she supports clients in slowing down, turning inward, and building a relationship with their inner world. It is in this space that insight, release, and meaningful change can begin to unfold.

Jen’s work is also shaped by her own ongoing healing journey. Through years of exploring both the physical and emotional layers of her experience, she has come to understand the importance of meeting what lives beneath the surface—rather than pushing it away. This perspective informs the way she holds space: with humility, authenticity, and deep respect for each person’s unique process.

She values supporting clients in reconnecting with their own inner wisdom, trusting that each person already holds what they need within them. Her role is not to direct or fix, but to walk alongside—offering presence, attunement, and gentle guidance as each client finds their own way.

Outside of her practice, Jen is drawn to movement and nature. She practices yoga, meditation, and enjoys time outdoors. She also trains in jiu-jitsu and holds a purple belt. At home, she is a proud mom to her 16-year-old son, and prioritizes practices that keep her grounded, present, and connected.
